Mission®Strips Tortilla Chips
1½ cupsMission®Chunky Salsa

1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil

1 small Onion, diced

3 Garlic cloves, minced or pressed, divided

1 lb. Ground turkey

1 Tbsp. Chili powder

1¼ tsp. Salt, divided

2 Avocados, pitted and diced

2 Tbsp. Lime juice

1 can (14 oz.) Refried beans

1 cup Sour cream

2 cups Mexican-style cheese, shredded

½ cup Cilantro, chopped

4 Green onions, thinly sliced



  1. Have ready 8 small, wide glasses or cups.
  2. In a large skillet heat oil over medium. Add onion and 2 garlic cloves and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in turkey, chili powder, and ¾ tsp. salt and cook, stirring and breaking up meat with a spoon, until cooked through, about 8 minutes.
  3. In a medium bowl, mash avocados with lime juice, remaining garlic clove, and remaining ½ tsp. salt.
  4. Spread refried beans in an even layer in the bottom of the glasses or cups, then top with layers of guacamole, sour cream, salsa, turkey, cheese, cilantro, and green onion. Serve immediately or cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate up to 4 hours.
  5. Serve with Mission® Strips Tortilla Chips for dipping.
